In MediaCP, you can record live DJ shows if your plan includes AutoDJ storage. Please check your plan level and contact support to have this feature enabled on a user-by-user basis. Once enabled, all live broadcasts will be automatically recorded and saved to your AutoDJ storage allocation.
Where Live Stream Recording is enabled on the service, you can enable or disable the recording feature at any time through the following steps, however a restart is required after applying a change here:
- Navigate to the Service Configuration page
- Select the AutoDJ tab
- Nearing the bottom of the page is an option labelled “Record Live Broadcasts”, toggle this on
- Ensure “Restart service to apply changes” is checked
- Press Update Configuration
Recording Location
Recordings are stored in the your Media Manager with the following naming convention:
/recordings/2023/11/2023-11-01-19_00_00_DJ_MATT.mp3
